Lake Powell 2007

We had our First Annual Family Vacay at Lake Powell this last weekend. It was so much fun! I had never been there before, and it was the most amazing place I have ever seen. I just stopped every so often as I was speeding by on a wave runner and shook my head because I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The girls had a blast, the baby was a trooper, Wes' boys had good times, and Dan was Master of the Knee Board Without the Leg Strap. We were so sad that Tim and Rachel's trip was a wee short (20 minutes on the boat the first day) as she flew off a water weeny at 35 mph and had to be helo-ed out of Lake Powell to UVRMC. It was pretty scary for a while there as she was drifting in and out of consciousness. Thankfully, she managed to escape the ordeal with no broken bones, a major concussion, and quite a few gaffed up teeth. Next year they better be there...and we'll leave the water weeny at home.
